Asia Sustainability Forum is pleased to co-organise the close-door Networking Session on 8 June 2023, together with hosting organisers, Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Australian High Commission Singapore and NERA - National Energy Resources Australia.

The Networking Session fostered meaningful connections between venture capitalists, fund managers, partners and innovative green startups, facilitating collaboration and investment opportunities in the sustainable technology sector.

Asia Sustainability Forum is proud to support the inaugural Brickland-ITE Green Festival 2023 as their community partner in sustainability.

This event aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainability among the local community by following the Singapore Green Plan 2030 as the event's theme. With the participation of multiple sustainability organizations and partners, this event becomes a great opportunity to explore, learn, and shop for various green products that will make your lifestyle more eco-friendly but stylish and innovative. 

Our Chairperson, Janice Hoo also shared a motivational keynote speech, encouraging all to take action with her mantra "EVERY EFFORT COUNTS".

Asia Sustainability Forum is proud to support Green Market 2022 - an annual event celebrating sustainable living and connecting the community to green initiatives.

In Green Market 20222, the online and onsite programmes at Choa Chu Kang Public Library, as well as Green Market's very first Eco-Market garnered a total of 4,682 participants. This celebration of sustainable living would not have been possible without the generosity of community partners and active participation from the public.

Asia Sustainability Forum is proud to be one of the supporting organisations for the seminar, which co-organised by Singapore Business Federation and JTC Corporation.

In this seminar, participants had a platform to uncover the revolutionary sustainable business prospects, innovation, and employment opportunities in sustainability industries available in both Singapore and the United States. Moreover, they also delved into the Singapore Green Plan 2030 and gained valuable insights into the United States' climate policies and investments that could expedite their business growth.

There were over 100 attendees who represented corporates, organisations, industry associations, venture capitals, and government. The Chairperson of the Asia Sustainability Forum, Ms. Janice Hoo, discussed clean energy and sustainability in trade and pertinent corporate operations with the Australian High Commissioner, and the representatives from Austrade, NERA, and Australian industry organisations.

Discussions were made based on the latest trends, opportunities, and challenges in this exciting field, and participants had a platform to explore how investors and founders can work together to drive positive change. 

It is a pleasure for Asia Sustainability Forum to be one of the supporting organisations for the BRICS-Singapore 2023 Entrepreneurship Competition, organsied by Transfong Ventures.

This year, BRICS-Singapore Entrepreneurship Competition has attracted more than 60 technology startups across ASEAN and other countries, with 18 teams competing in the final event on 19 June. There were 13 eminent local judges for the final competition, with diversified backgrounds in VC, tech startup, MNC senior management, business ownership, and academia, covering two technical tracks (Engineering & Biotech), business, and economics.

Asia Sustainability Forum is proud to support Green Market 2023 - an annual event celebrating sustainable living and connecting the community to green initiatives.

This year's theme, "Celebrating Nature: The Weird & Wonderful", shines a spotlight on the incredible biodiversity we live amongst and calls us to cherish and protect our wondrous world. Green Market 2023 includes fun talks, storytelling, board games, and booths run by green businesses and environmental groups, which allows participants to discover the incredible biodiversity we live amongst, and learn how to support these initiatives.

Asia Sustainability Forum among other strategic partners sign the Green Tree Initiative to champion best practices in ESG and create a sustainability ecosystem in Singapore.

The Green Tree Initiative (GTI) is a community-led initiative to share best practices in Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) with small and medium enterprises (SME), multinational companies, and startups in Singapore. Partners of the GTI include Asia Sustainability Forum, Global Green Connect, NUS Business School, and Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) Programme Office, Enterprise Singapore.
